Rare Martial Arts : Eskrima

Arnis Sticks

Another names of Eskrima(alternately Escrima) are Kali, and Arnis de Mano. Eskrima is a form of Filipino martial art that is focused just about entirely on stick and blade fighting. The backbone of this martial art centers on simplicity. It was born of a need to train a lot of people (Filipinos) how to beat the hell out of a lot of other people (Spanish conquistadors) with not a lot to work with sticks.

As an end result, only battle-tested techniques that will simply, surely, and oh-so-quickly ruined your opponents head open are taught in Eskrima. Unlike many forms of martial arts, there is no ritual war dance associated with it. Eskrima warriors are known for their ability to lay a fool out with or without a weapon to the point that there are rightful techniques that require a warrior to just "bite the living shit" out of their opponent. Sheesh.
